The Aldemar
Cretan Village is the perfect holiday resort for
families, couples and singles. Located at one of
the most beautiful spots of Crete, offers a large
variety of facilities and services even for the most
demanding guest! People can visit the hotel both
for relaxation or business. The multi-lingual staff
is there to make your holidays easy and relaxed!
The hotel is not suitable for people with special
needs. Pets are not permitted on hotel grounds.
Accommodation
The hotel has
342 rooms, family rooms and family apartments housed
in building complexes. All of them are equipped with
24 hours/day air-conditioning (mid-May to mid-September,
minimum), colour satellite television with music
channels, double bed/twin beds, sofa-bed, marble
bathroom with bathtub, furnished balcony or veranda,
hair dryer, magnifying mirror, direct dial telephone,
refrigerator and safety deposit box (at extra charge).
Food & Beverage
The Cretan Village
disposes of the main restaurant (07:00 - 10:00 & 18:30
- 21:00), a snack bar & restaurant (10:00 - 16:00),
the tavern Pergola (19:00 - 01:00), a beach bar & restaurant
(10:00 - 18:00), a pizzeria (12:00 - 22:00), night
club (22:30 - 01:30), childrens restaurant (18:30
- 20:00), Iain bar Panorama (18:00 - 01:30), pool
bar I (10:00 - 18:00), pool bar II (10:00 - 18:00)
and pool bar III (10:00 - 18:00). Meals: breakfast
is served from 07:00 to 10:00 (in the main restaurant,
american-style buffet), dinner from 18:30 to 21:00
(buffet service in the main restaurant - inclusive:
HB/FB & three special buffet theme nights a week
- inclusive: HB/FB). Drinks are not included and
missed meals cannot be replaced. Dress code: guests
are kindly requested to dress appropriately in all
restaurants, bars and the night club during the evening
(no shorts or bathing suits please).
Sports & Leisure
There is large
variety of sport facilities for the pleasure of the
guests. Some of them are free of charge, such as
the four large outdoor pools (1 seawater & 3
fresh water), sandy beach, beach/pool umbrellas,
4 quartzsand tennis courts, 75 metres long waterslide,
beach/pool lounge chairs, outdoor showers, table
tennis, mini-golf course, games room, work-out programmes
with fitness instructors (aerobics, aquafit, gym
work-outs, body firming), evening programmes and
shows by the animation team, beach volley facilities,
bridge room and large-screen TV & video room.
Some others are at extra charge: tennis lessons (www.sunball-tennisschule.de),
billiards, water sports centre (diving - www.scubakreta.gr,
canoeing, windsurfing, water skiing, pedal boats,
parachuting, sailing -catamaran, banana-rides, ringos)
and thalasso programmes at the Royal Mare Thalasso
Spa Centre.

The Cretan Village
offers a meeting room with a capacity of 80 pax.
Conference facilities are also available at the neighbouring
Aldemar Knossos Royal Village Conference Centre with
a capacity of 900 pax. Aldemar Hotels also owns one
additional hotel unit (Royal Mare Village) adjacent
to the premises of Knossos Royal Village and Cretan
Village, capable of catering small meetings of up
to 80 people.
Thalasso / Spa
Hotel guests
can use the model thalasso spa centre for relaxation,
well-being and beauty treatments, at the neighbouring
hotel, Aldemar Royal Mare Village. Its luxurious
and serene, dedicated entirely to your well-being,
