The Blue
Bay is situated 10km from the city of Rhodes,
4 kms away from the airport and 2kms from Ialyssos
Town, on the west coast of the island, with its
cooling breezes and shingle beach making it ideal
for sunbathing and swimming. Built along a natural
private beach, connected with a regular local
bus service and 500 metres from the main road,
it is ideal for families. Due to the location
of this property, aircraft noise will be heard.
Accommodation
This complex
consists of standard rooms in the main building,
they are mainly twin rooms that can accommodate
a third extra bed if necessary and some rooms
have bunk beds available for children. All rooms
have air conditioning (July–August) which is
centrally controlled, balconies with patio furniture,
private bathrooms, telephone, music and safe
deposit boxes (payable locally). Also available
are smaller private rooms set in the gardens,
known as the ‘bungalows’ these are suitable only
for two people and more traditional in their
style.
Sports and Leisure
Water Polo,
Basketball, Aerobics, Beach Volley ball, Mini
golf, Darts, Tennis and Table Tennis.
Entertainment
The enthusiastic
animation team offers day and evening entertainment
6 days and 6 evenings each week. They include
various shows, games, karaoke, mini disco, and
sports events. Adults and children alike can
participate and enjoy the programme. Greek Night
is also available (weather permitting) and payable
locally.
Childrens Facilities
The hotel
offers 2 children’s pools, a playground and a
hotel run mini club. The hotel grounds offer
a safe environment for children, however parental
supervision must be ensured.

All inclusive
starts at 10:00 and runs through until midnight.
It includes unlimited tea & coffee, locally
produced soft drinks and locally produced alcoholic
drinks. Wine, beer, ouzo, vodka, rum and gin
are all produced locally but other international
brands are not included. Drinks are served from
the outside bars and there is an additional bar
inside which allows you to buy anything else
you might need. Meals are all buffet style with
a choice of hot and cold dishes. Snacks are available
between meal times, and ice cream is available
for children under 12 until 6pm. Picnic baskets
are available to those wishing to go out for
the day and must be ordered the evening before.
Charge for Sunbeds
Please note
that there is a charge for the use of sunbeds
by the pool and at the beach. The price of a
sunbed is approximately €2.50 per day.
