Area
Kamari is the
famous summer resort. The village was built after
the earthquakes of 1956. The great attraction of
Kamari is the black sandy beach at least two kilometers
in length. The beach is lined with very good restaurants,
bars, discos and shops. There is frequent connecting
bus service with Fira (capital of Santorini).
